"Sanduğaç" Spring Collection

Celebrate the arrival of spring with “Sanduğaç”, a pottery collection named after the Tatar word for nightingale.

This collection brings together porcelain mugs, travel mugs, large coffee jars, jewelry jars, planters, and birdhouses. This season, my pottery was inspired by birdsongs and the gentle awakening of nature. Each piece was thrown on a wheel, glazed, and fired to over 2000°F to make it ready for daily use. I hope the pottery you decide to bring home will make you feel as much joy as I feel when spring comes after a long winter.

Frequently asked questions

Do your pots go in the dishwasher and microwave?

Yes! All Zilnat Pottery pieces are dishwasher and microwave-safe unless specifically stated otherwise. Handmade ceramics are very durable.

What is your shipping process?

Customers local to Arkansas/Oklahoma can schedule a local meetup to pick up their pottery for free. If you choose to ship, each piece is carefully wrapped and boxed to ensure safe travel. Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days. You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your package is on its way.

Do items sell out quickly?

Sometimes! Each piece is handmade in small batches, so certain items may go fast. If you love something, snag it early or keep an eye on restocks during future releases

How long does it take to make a single piece?

Each piece moves through several stages—throwing, trimming, carving or sculpting, drying, bisque firing, glazing, and a final glaze firing to more than 2000°F. From start to finish, the process can take anywhere from 1–3 weeks, depending on drying times and kiln schedules. Each piece requires several hours of work.

Do you take custom orders or commissions?

I do not currently accept custom orders, but I release a variety of carved, painted, and glazed designs throughout the year. If commissions open in the future, I will announce it.
